Police Respond To Incident At Clearfield County Methadone Clinic

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Police responded to an incident at a Clearfield County methadone clinic last week.

They were called to the Discovery House in Lawrence Township around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday for a report of a man displaying a gun.

The man left the scene but police caught up with him a few miles away.

Police said the man, David Hanley, had a gun without a license to carry it.

Police said it's one of many incidents they've responded to at the Discovery House over the past months.

They admit many incidents are minor, including fighting in the parking lot of the clinic.

Discovery House officials declined to comment for this story.
