SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. —

Police are issuing a search warrant at the home of the boyfriend of a missing woman.

Justine Jackson, 19, was last seen two months ago, and police said her boyfriend was the last person seen with her.

In the meantime, Jackson’s neighbors and loved ones are worried that human remains found along the Great Allegheny Passage near Meyersdale are those of Jackson.  She was last seen walking along Glade Road, less than a mile where the remains were found.

Police are scheduled to hold a news conference about the investigation at 1 p.m. Many questions remain, including who the person is and if criminal activity is suspected.

On Monday, police said it could take days or possibly even weeks before the remains are identified.

There have been rumors swirling in the small town for weeks that a body had been found along the same trail, and many people have speculated that it was Jackson.

Pennsylvania State Police in Somerset have said those were all rumors, until Sunday when the remains were found.
