ALTOONA, Pa. —

Police said a Blair County man charged with sexually assaulting a woman sent her taunting text messages after the alleged crime, which they say support the criminal charges.

Altoona police arrested David Ross, 43, of Tyrone, on involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and other charges Friday.

Police said the charges stem from alleged attack at a woman's home just after midnight on March 25.  After the assault, police said, Ross allegedly sent the woman several incriminating text messages including one saying "the only thing u r good for is what I got tonight."

Police downloaded the messages from the woman's phone, according to The Associated Press.

Ross' attorney denied the charges and said "both sides" of the story will come out when his client faces a preliminary hearing Wednesday in Blair County.
