Police Still Searching For Missing District Attorney

Centre County —

Investigators say they may return to the Susquehanna River Friday. Gricar's car was found parked in a lot near the river in Lewisburg last Saturday. At a press conference Thursday, Bellefonte police officers released what few leads they have confirming Gricar's laptop is missing. They also say there is no evidence of a mental problem. Bellefonte's chief says a third witness has also come forward claiming to have seen the district attorney around Lewisburg more than 24-hours after he was last heard from.

"I got a missing person's report so I've got to consider if it's foul play, if he left by himself, is there a medical issue or a mental health issue? Everything is being looked at," said Bellefonte Chief Duane Dixon.

A Lewisburg resident said he doubts theories that suggest Gricar could be in the river, because he says the Susquehanna is only about four feet deep.
