Police Track Down Man Wanted In Bedford County Killing

CLEARVILLE, Pa. —

Police in Bedford County are investigating an early-morning killing in Clearville.

State police said Harold Turner, 29, got into a fight with his father, 60-year-old Harold Turner Sr., inside their home along Flintstone Creek Road, not far from the Pennsylvania-Maryland line.

Police said Turner wanted to borrow his parents' car. When they refused, he hit his father in the head with a blunt object before fleeing the scene, according to authorities.

The victim was pronounced dead Monday morning at Cumberland Memorial Hospital in Maryland.

Police in Pennsylvania and Maryland were on the lookout for Turner. He was found in Ohio Monday afternoon, driving his parents' car.
