Police: Two Men Using Phony Cash In Centre County

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. —

State College police said two men used a counterfeit $100 bill to buy food inside the College Avenue McDonald's just after midnight Tuesday. Fifteen minutes later, the men tried to use another fake $100 bill at a Dunkin' Donuts nearby.

The men took off when an employee at the Dunkin' Donuts used a fraud pen to test the cash, police said.

Police believe this case is connected to a Montgomery County probe.

Police said they have surveillance images that will be released soon.
