Police: Witnesses help chase down robbery suspect in Cresson Twp.

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. —

A few bystanders in Cambria County helped chase a man down after police said he robbed a restaurant.

Cresson Township Police told 6News that John Harman IV robbed the Grand China Restaurant on Admiral Perry Highway Friday afternoon.

A few witnesses heard the owner of the restaurant yelling that they were robbed.

Police said the witnesses chased Harman down just about 500 yards away from the restaurant.

Harman is charged with robbery, theft and drug-related charges.

He is in jail on $40,000 bond.
