Portage Soldier Injured In Iraq

A soldier from Cambria County lost part of his leg and arm early this month during a grenade attack in Iraq.

Spc. Keith Maul of Portage is a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard in the 56th Stryker Brigade.

A family friend, told WJAC-TV that Maul is in good spirits. Surgeons at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C., have closed all of his wounds and he is being fitted for artificial limbs.
