A warning this morning for property owners in Blair County. Don't throw out any mail until you've made sure it's not your tax notice.
That's because tax bills are being sent to property owners - instead of their mortgage companies this year. The reason for the change? Too many taxpayers are not getting their taxes in on time. Officials say over the years, the number of financial institutions have grown and with people re-financing, it's gotten out of hand.
