Channel six news has learned close to one thousand jobs could be coming to the area. It's a project created by the international steel group - along with other companies - who have yet to be named. Officials say the project involves starting the coal mines back up at mine 33 near Ebensburg - and creating a coke plant. Cambria county business leaders are waiting for an offer to be made by governor rendell's action team - before making an official announcement.
