Protesters Gather In Johnstown As Health Care Reform Vote Nears

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. —

As President Barack Obama makes a huge effort to get a health care reform bill approved in Congress, Democrats in Washington are trying to scrape up the votes they need and opponents of the bill were rallying around the country.

In Johnstown, people who are against the bill gathered at Central Park on Friday. They said their main goal is to stop the bill from passing and said the real question is: do people really understand the thousands of complicated pages in the bill?

In the meantime, Democrats in Washington said they believe the $940 billion bill will pass, despite the fact that not a single Republican plans to vote for it.

Supporters of the bill have been focusing their efforts on swaying undecided Democrats who could make or break the bill.
