Plans to build a stage outside the Hub on Penn State's campus have been temporarily put on hold, while university officials revise details of the project. University officials appeared before the State College Borough Council to address concerns about noise that would come from the stage earlier this month. Noise levels from the stage would violate the borough's ordinance at certain times. The stage on the Hub lawn, would feature concerts and special events. Now, details of the project are being reworked to address concerns over noise and other issues. The council will have to okay the project for the university to move forward.
