PSU trustees meeting today, may vote on board changes

By WJAC Web Staff

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. —

Penn State's board of trustees will wrap up their two-day January meeting on Friday with some important business, including the selection of a new board chairman.

During Thursday's session, a trustees committee recommended that PSU's president and Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett be changed to nonvoting members of the board.

That recommendation was first offered by former Auditor General Jack Wagner, and the full board may vote on that Friday.

The board is also expected to choose Keith Masser as its new chairman.
