Railway police investigating man hit by train in Cresson

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. —

A man was recovering Sunday night after he was hit by a train in Cresson just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Dispatch confirmed to 6News that the man was near the train tracks on Front Street when he was hit.

He was flown by helicopter to Altoona Regional.

There was no update on his condition.

Norfolk Southern Railway Police are investigating.

They could not be reached for comment on Sunday.
