Students are painting a mural on the dike wall at Mahoning Creek, but the Punxy Spirit reported that Sunday's rains washed away two aluminum ladders and several cans of paint.
Participants said the same thing happened when the original mural was painted in 1990.
The students and their mural are slated to be featured on Channel 6 News' weekly Success By Six series.
