As the buses rolled into the Altoona Transit Center, so did a group of bus riders. Save Our Transit met up with local riders to make their voices heard...funding for public transit should not be cut anymore! Amtran has already felt the pinching of the pennies and many concerned since the state's quick fix to prevent massive service cuts is only temporary. Save Our Transit pointing out that in Altoona and Johnstown, there are a lot of elderly and disabled riders who rely on the buses to go to doctor appointments and to visit family. SOT members also visited local state leaders' offices to voice their concerns.
