Recount Changes Original Election Outcome

A Township Supervisor candidate who thought he'd won the election on November fourth has now has learned that his victory has been overturned. Democrat Ed Kupchella says he plans to appeal Monday's decision to the State Commonwealth Court. It appeared Kupchella had beaten Incumbent Dave Bracken for the six year seat as Jackson Township Supervisor by 68 votes, that based on 89 write in votes that had been cast.
