Reports: Sandusky trial may be moved to Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. --


6 News is looking into broadcast reports that Jerry Sandusky's trial may be moved from Bellefonte to Harrisburg to accommodate the vast number of media members.

CBS 21 in Harrisburg reported that the Dauphin County sheriff said officials are interested in the move because of the logistics involved with manpower, hotel rooms and space.

Sandusky's next court appearance -- an arraignment in Centre County -- is scheduled for Jan. 11.
