Congressman Pat Toomey's home Republican State
Committee Caucus isn't backing him in his challenge to Senator
Arlen Specter. In the weekend straw poll of Republican State
Committee members at the Northeast Central Caucus
vote, Specter got 20 votes to Toomey's 13. The full Republican
State Committee will meet this Saturday to endorse candidates for
the April 27th GOP Primary.
