Reynoldsville Police Dept. officer in charge suspended with pay

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. —

Reynoldsville City Council members held an emergency meeting Monday night to regarding a police officer's personnel issue.


Council President Jack Matusky said the police department's officer in charge, Bruce Cramer, is suspended with pay "due to issues related to our code of conduct."

Matusky would not specify on what code of conduct violation had allegedly been committed.

Council members went into executive session to consider what action they should take with regard to Cramer. Matusky spoke only briefly after the executive session and made no other comment on Monday night about the decision.

The next regularly scheduled meeting is next Wednesday and officials said more information is expected to be presented.
