Ridgway —
An investigation by State Police found that a police officer overlooked a woman's underage drinking and traffic violations in exchange for sexual favors. Joseph B. Manno of Ridgway has been charged for allegedly forcing a woman to perform sexual acts on two occasions between August and October 2003. After being suspended from his job since October, the Ridgway Borough Council fired Manno last night.
