Rival Schools Compete To Register Most Voters

Two rival high schools known for competing on the football field are now competing off the field. They want to see who can register the most voters for this year's election.

Forest Hills and Central Cambria High School will have their homecoming game this weekend. This year they decided to make the stakes higher by adding the voter's registration competition.

The prize is bragging rights but for the two rivals it's worth it.

"We'd rather have a competition that helped the community out to get more people to register so our voice can be heard, " said Central Cambria Senior, Tyler Davidson.

The competition was started little over a week ago by two seniors who aren't even old enough to vote yet, but they think it is important.

People can still register to vote with the two schools until the end of the fourth quarter.
