Rock Hill Trolley Volunteers Take Stand Against Vandalism

An act of vandalism in Huntingdon County has a community in shock.

Volunteers of the Rock Hill Trolley Museum found their nativity manger scene scattered along the tracks and six inflatable blowups slashed Thanksgiving morning.

The Rock Hill Trolley Museum is in the middle of its eighth annual Polar Bear Express event.

Volunteers spent a total of 400 hours preparing for the event.

Two of them also took off work the week before Thanksgiving to get ready for the weekend's events.

After they got the news, one board member stayed at the museum and missed Thanksgiving dinner to make sure the vandals didn't come back.

The state trooper investigating the incident said he is interviewing individuals and has a good idea of who's behind the vandalism.
