Rural Communities Struggle To Get Safe Drinking Water

Many rural communities are struggling to meet requirements for safe drinking water. One Centre County town has been in court for years, and now, they're right back where they started.

Several years ago, state regulators told the Madisonburg Water Authority that its water supply was unsafe, even though nobody in town reported any problems. Since then, there's been a series of legal hearings, a boil water advisory, and various experiments. The original idea of drilling a new well- may still be the answer.
