Search Continues For Missing Centre County Inmate

Centre County —

The search is still on for an inmate who is missing from the Centre County jail. 25-year-old Christopher Lee Taylor was in jail on a probation violation. The Centre County sheriff says he is confident they will find Taylor. He believes Taylor is still in the area because he requested a special pass to spend the holidays with his family, but it was denied. Taylor has several distinctive tattoos including a tear drop under his right eye and a tribal style tattoo on the back of his neck. Taylor, who was working at Bierly's Meat Market in Spring Mills as part of a work release program, didn't show up for work earlier this week. He is a white man described as being 5' 11" tall and weighing about 200 pounds. Taylor has brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Centre County sheriff at 355-6803.
