STATE COLLEGE, Pa. —

6 News has obtained a copy of a search warrant used by police investigating how a woman fell from a window at a Penn State fraternity house.

It shows police have seized blood evidence in the case, trying to determine if the 19-year-old woman fell or was pushed.  Police said it happened early Saturday morning on December 1, at the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity house on Prospect Ave. in State College.

The woman told police she had half dozen tequila shots while at a party at the house.  She was taken to the hospital after about an eight feet fall from a window.

Those court documents said police noticed a man standing outside her hospital room while she was being treated.  She tells police she doesn’t know the man and he is asked to leave, documents said.

Police said when officers return to the house, they are met by the same man who refuses to let them take pictures.  Police then got the search warrant and returned.

The warrant shows police find the window frame where the woman fell, saying it appears bent or broken and there is significant amount of broken glass and blood along with bloody footprints.

Police said the woman is not seriously injured and the investigation is continuing with possible assault and furnishing alcohol to minors charges.
