Second woman falls from State College window in less than two months

By Melanie Gillespie

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. —

For the second time in two months, a 19-year-old woman has fallen from a window in State College.

Police have yet to release her name, but said the woman was apparently drunk and fell about 8 or 9 feet shortly after midnight Friday.

Police said it happened at the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity house.

Her injuries are not considered life-threatening.

This fall comes just weeks after Penn State cheerleader Paige Raque fell 39 feet from a Calder Commons Apartment window during an off campus party on October 13th.

She's recovering from a broken pelvis and a brain injury.

Police have yet to release details about the case and their investigation continues.
