Sen. Barack Obama Visits Pittsburgh, To Appear In Johnstown Saturday

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. —

With less than a month until the April 22 Pennsylvania primary election, the Democratic race heats up as the party's front-runner, Sen. Barack Obama is scheduled to make an appearance this weekend in Johnstown.

Obama kicked-off his six-day "Road to Change" bus tour across Pennsylvania Friday with stops in Pittsburgh and Westmoreland County.

Greater Johnstown High School will once again become a sea of Democratic supporters. On Saturday, Obama will bring his message to the area, two weeks after former President Bill Clinton made an appearance on his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's, behalf.

Doors for the Obama event are scheduled to open Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and the event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Tickets are required for admittance, and campaign workers are adding names to a waiting list, as all available tickets were handed out Thursday evening.

Obama will also make a campaign stop in State College Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at the Penn State main campus on the lawn at Old Main. Campaign officials expect 20,000 people to attend. Tickets are not needed for the State College event.
