Shake Up Possible For Group With Kuchera Ties

There are new details in a raid at Somerset County's Kuchera Industries.

A shakeup is possible at a lobbying firm with close controversial ties to Congressman John Murtha.

The P.M.A. Group is considering severing its ties to its founder, a former top aide of the congressman named Paul Magliochetti.

According to WJAC-TV's Scott MacFarlane in Washington, DC, there are "ongoing discussions" inside the P.M.A. Group to shake up its own leadership and Magliochetti could be on his way out.

Ethics groups have long criticized the ties between Murtha and Magliochetti.

Murtha helped funnel $100 million to Magliochetti's clients this year. P.M.A. and those clients meanwhile donated nearly $200 thousand to Murtha.

There was no comment from the congressman but we did speak with government watchdog groups. You can get more information here on our website.
