Sheetz Beer Sales Will Resume, Pending Inspection

ALTOONA, Pa —

Beer sales are set to resume at a Sheetz convenience store restaurant pending an inspection of the of the states liquor control board.

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board issued the Sheetz a new license after the chain agreed to sell beer to drink in its restaurant as well as on a take out basis at its location on Pleasant Valley Boulevard.

Six years ago, the PLCB gave Sheetz permission to sell beer but the Malt Beverage Distributors Association filed a lawsuit and the Supreme Court ruled in their favor revoking Sheetz beer license.
