Shelters Available For Flood Victims

Due to the significant flooding across the area, the following shelters have been setup in our area. In Blair County, for those of you in the Logan Township area, you can go to St. John's Catholic Elementary School on Lotz Avenue. If you live in Tyrone, Bellwood, Pinecroft, Tipton, and other communities within this area, you can seek shelter at Tyrone High School on Clay Avenue.

In Bedford County, if you live in Loyalsburg, Salem's Village, or New Enterprise, you can go to Replogle Old School in Loyalsburg. For those of you in Hopewell, Saxton, Broadtop, and Riddlesburg, you can seek shelter at the Saxton Fire Department.

In Huntingdon County, for those of you living in the northern part of county, there is a shelter setup at Juniata Valley High School. In the southern part of Huntingdon County, you should contact your municipality because fire departments are setting up shelters in the community.

If you think you have to evacuate, go within the next two hours (1 a.m. Saturday).
