Shopping Deals Start Before Black Friday

Some retailers across the country are not waiting until Black Friday to roll out their big sales they are starting weeks before.

"Black Friday used to be the day after Thanksgiving. Now it is a five or six week ordeal," said Brad Wilson, BlackFriday2010.com.

No longer do people have to wait in long lines at 3 a.m. in order to get good deals. Throughout the month of November the Best Buy in Altoona will be having some holiday specials.

"Its just another way for us to get some of that traffic in here and provide customers that kind of solution," said Dan Droll, manager of Best Buy.

A survey by Deloitte Consulting shows people have changed their spending habits, spending less and demanding better prices. This is the way retailers are responding.
