Sinkholes No Match For State College School Renovations

State College school board members said they will move forward with high school renovation plans even though there are concerns about possible sinkholes.

The problem was discussed at a board meeting Monday night. School directors asked representatives from the project's architectural firm how serious the problem is and how sinkholes might impact the overall cost.

The board was told that sinkholes are not uncommon in construction projects.
