Snow Can Damage Homes

For about a week, snow has been falling across the Alleghenies. All of the snow build-up can be a pain to shovel and cause damage to homes.

If the snow is heavy enough, it can cause your roof to cave in.

The weather is expected to warm, which means icicles can start to form on the edge of roofs. Water can then seep into the home and cause flooding.

It's best to contact a professional to remove snow or icicles. When amateurs do it on their own, they tend to create more damage.
