Snow hit-and-miss throughout 6 News viewing area

By WJAC Web Staff

Depending on where you live, recent snowfall qualified as a major March storm or nothing of consequence.

In the places that were hit hard by the storm, cleanup efforts have been slow and travel even slower on Wednesday morning.

It was a slow commute for folks in Cambria County on Wednesday morning, with a flurry mix along the intersection of Elton Road and Theatre Drive near the Route 56 ramp. Trucks spent a few hours plowing roads as the snow continued to fall.

In Altoona, there were mostly clear road conditions on 10th Avenue Expressway for morning commuters and the snow was already plowed in surrounding areas by noon.

Meanwhile, there wasn't a snowflake in sight in Centre County on Wednesday morning, with dry conditions in State College and temperatures in the upper 30s.
