SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. --
A Boswell man is in the Somerset County Jail accused of burglary and assault on a police officer.
Police said the incident happened when they were transporting 31-year-old Michael Howlett to the county jail early Monday in connection with a burglary charge,
Officers said Howlett became belligerent, pulled away from his escorts, then assaulted a Somerset police officer.
Additional charges were filed against Howlett on Monday morning.
