Somerset Co. Man Arraigned On Burglary, Fleeing Charges

BOSWELL, Pa. —

Multiple agencies including the State Police in Somerset were led on a nearly 24-hour chase to find burglary suspect Shawn Pynos.

Thursday, Pynos headed to two different magistrate offices to be arraigned on 12 cases.

The cases stem back to April 13 and end on May 17.

Police said he burglarized several businesses, taking money, guns and liquor.

Police said in May they chased him through Jenner Township and Somerset County. Police said he stole cars and a four wheeler to elude police. Police said he even rammed a police cruiser causing damage.

His bail total is over $700,000.

Cpl. William Link said they'd like to consolidate a lot of the charges to make these court hearings run quickly.
