Somerset County Child Abuse Case Heads To County Court

SOMERSET, Pa. —

A Somerset father will face a judge on charges he abused his child for his own amusement.

Jason Flick is facing 34 abuse-related charges after police discovered broken bones on his 2-year-old son.

Investigators said Flick hit the child, poured hot sauce down the child's throat, put a snake around his neck and put beer in his sippy cup.

Flick waived his preliminary hearing and his case will be heard in Somerset County Court.

Flick is expected to be arraigned sometime in May.
