Somerset Couple Found Dead... Was It A Murder-Suicide?

Somerset —

Police say a man bludgeoned his wife to death and then killed himself by attaching a hose to the tailpipe of his truck and putting the other end in the cab. State police and Somerset Borough police say they found the body

of 41-year-old Edward Richard Tarasovic, of Somerset, inside his

pickup truck on Saturday evening. Somerset County Coroner, Wallace Miller, says Tarasovic used the hose from a shop vacuum to divert the exhaust of his truck into the cab, killing himself. Miller ruled Tarasovic died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

After a day of trying to contact his wife, 35-year-old Judy Ann

Tarasovic, police say they found her bludgeoned to death in bed at

the couple's Somerset home.

Authorities say Edward Tarasovic left a suicide note, but

declined to provide details.
