Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter was elected with President Reagan in 1980. Saturday he said "Ronald Reagan will be remembered as a great american president who presided over the demise of the Soviet Union, tearing down the Berlin Wall and winning the Cold War... we forged a very close bond with him and had the opportunity to work with a great american."
