Spill Closes Portion of I-80

CLINTONVILLE, Pa. —

As of late Wednesday afternoon, a seven-mile stretch of Interstate 80 was closed.

Hazmat crews are cleaning up a tanker spill near Clintonville.

That's about 75 miles west of DuBois. The westbound lanes are closed.

WJAC has been told a tanker truck lost control and spilled a toxic chemical.

Emergency workers have evacuated people from a 150-foot area around the spill.

So far, there have been no reports of injuries.
