Conemaugh Township —
St. Francis Caring and Sharing Inc. broke ground Monday for a new building which will allow it to combine the two operations into one location.
The group will conduct fundraisers to pay for the steel building, which will be assembled in Maryland then moved to the Holsopple area.
The groundbreaking also marked the start of a campaign in which 15,000 memorial bricks will be sold.
The memorial bricks can be purchased at the St. Francis Clothing Shoppe, the food pantry, or at 19 different churches throughout Conemaugh Township.
