A newspaper executive in State
College is heading to Florida. Henry Haitz III, publisher of
the Centre Daily Times, will assume the same post next month at the
Bradenton Herald. The 39-year-old Haitz, who has degrees from
Bloomsburg University and Penn State, joined the Centre Daily Times
in 1996 and became publisher in 2001. Both papers are owned by
Knight Ridder.
