By Brittany Boyer

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. —

State police in Jefferson County are investigating two break-ins within one week.

Authorities said the first break-in occurred on Dec.4 at the Gospel Center in Washington Township.

Police said the actors entered the building and removed music/sound equipment valued over $10,000.

Officials said the actors also attempted to remove three weapons but left them at the scene.

A few days later state police in DuBois responded to another break-in, this time at the Smithtown Community Church in Washington Township.

Police said it happened between Dec. 7 - Dec. 9.

After entering the church, police said a laptop, guitar and a bank card was taken.

Authorities said the value of the stolen property is estimated over $1,000.

State police are also investigating a church break-in that happened in August.

Officials said it happened at the St.Bernard's Church in Falls Creek.

Anyone with information regarding these break-ins should contact PSP DuBois at 371-4652.
