State Police Probe Huntingdon County Church Vandalism

MT. UNION, Pa. —

State troopers are looking for whoever vandalized the Otelia Mennonite Church Sunday.

According to Pennsylvania State Police in Huntingdon, someone smashed the back door window of the Shirley Township church between noon and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, knocked items to the ground and poured bleach on the floor of the sanctuary and basement.

One congregation member told WJAC-TV he has no idea why vandals would target the church.

Anyone with information is urged to call state police in Huntingdon at 814-627-3161.
