State Police Raid City Police Officer's Home

State police in Hollidaysburg released very few details about a raid at a home in Altoona Thursday evening, but they said the raid was part of a very sensitive investigation.

Neighbors said the home on the 900 block of 25th Avenue belongs to Altoona police Officer Rick Johnson.

For most of the afternoon Thursday, about five undercover state police cruisers and an undercover van were lining the street and the driveway. Officers were carrying big plastic containers into the home and carrying them back out full of evidence.

Troopers were also fishing around in what is believed to be Johnson's pickup truck and bagging evidence.

The district attorney would not comment on the raid.

State police said they're not releasing any information that could jeopardize their investigation.
