State police seeking man who tried to abduct teen in Indiana Co.

WHITE TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Pennsylvania State Police at the Indiana barracks are looking for a man who tried to abduct a 17-year-old girl in White Township.

Police said the girl was walking along Marion Road on Saturday afternoon when a man approached her and grabbed her arm.

The girl screamed and the man grabbed her around the stomach, but she was able to get away.

The assailant is described as about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a heavy build and long black hair. He was wearing a black leather jacket and a black winter hat.
