Super Bowl Party Savings

The economic climate has everyone watching their wallet, but will it deter Super Bowl hosts from their menus?

"I think what you'll see is people conscious of their money but as we've seen this year, Steelers fans are Steelers fans," assistant manager of Martin's, Mike Fox, said. "It's the Super Bowl. It happens once, who knows when it will happen again."

In our shopping cart: a veggie platter, 10 pounds of wings, two shrimp platters, chips and dip, paper plates, paper cups, and two cases of Diet Pepsi.

The total came out to be $129.93.

Best grocery saving advice?

"Knowing what to buy. Knowing how many people you're going to have there," Fox said. "Plan accordingly. And look for the savings."
