Suspected Drug Dealers In Centre County Arrested

State College, Pa. —

Ten people suspected of dealing drugs throughout Centre county were arrested in a series drug raids on Thursday. The Centre County District Attorney, members of the Drug Task Force and other officials held a news conference to talk about the raids and arrests. The arrests come after a year long investigation that focused on street-level drug dealers who have been operating in State College, Bellefonte and other parts of Centre County. Investigators say the suspects sold various types of drugs including marijuana, cocaine and methadone to undercover informants. The drug sweep started earlier this week and continued with arrests today. The suspects were booked and arraigned after being arrested. Police were after a total of 16 people as part of the sweep. They are hoping to track down and arrest the 6 suspects that were not taken into custody on Thursday in the next few days.
