Task Force Arrests Four On Drug Charges

ALTOONA, Pa. —

Four people were arrested on drug charges in Blair County Thursday night.

Armed with a search warrant, the Blair County Drug Task Force found a gun, an ounce of crack cocaine worth a street value of $5,000, numerous pills and scales in a home along 10th Street in Altoona.

Drug officials arrested Jeffrey Ford, Mary Baney, Ronald Lauver and Edgar Sprankle. Sprankle was picked up trying to trade his 13-year-old son's bike for crack cocaine and arrested on a parole violation.
